The hosting and cloud computing company said revenue was $187.3 million, up 23.2 percent from a year ago (statement). Of that sum, managed hosting revenue was $164.1 million. Cloud computing revenue was $23.2 million.

For the quarter that ended March 31, Rackspace earned $9.8 million, or 7 cents per share, compared with a profit of $6.6 million, or 5 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
